When you first begin the process, you will want to decide what type of packages best meets your needs.
Select Your Furniture
Choosing furniture – one of the most exciting parts of any move. You will want to view the different furniture packages to choose the furniture that best suits your tastes and needs. There are several recommended packages for different styles and apartment sizes from which you can choose, or you can mix and match your own set. You are not limited to the packages listed. You will be presented all furniture options when you receive your quote, some of which may not be listed on our site.
Request an Online Quote
All you have to do is fill out the online quote form on the Quote page, select the items you want to place in your shopping cart, and submit the form. It is not a requirement that you choose packages for your shopping cart just to submit a quote request. You will be provided a quote with or without furniture packages chosen. You are not required to purchase nor provide any credit card or financial information at this time. You will only have to provide what your monthly budget is on the quote request form. You will receive a quote by your choice of e-mail or telephone reply (or both) within 24 to 48 hours. If your request is on a weekend or holiday, please be advised that most requests will be replied to on the next business day that is within the 24 to 48 hour period. Delivery
Normally, a few days after all payment requirements are satisfied directly with your chosen furniture vendor, arrangements will be made to deliver the furniture to your new temporary home. Due to geographic locations there may be up to a week for before your furniture can be delivered. If you are not available to allow the delivery crew into the residence to set up, then alternative entry solutions will be arranged with your chosen furniture vendor.
Installation
An installation supervisor makes sure all your furniture and accessories are installed correctly. Your furniture will be unpacked for you and your beds will be set up. If you rent a housewares package, all the beds will be made and your other linens, blankets, towels and kitchen items will be arranged for your immediate move-in use.
Interim Deliveries and Collections
Picking up or dropping off rental items any time during your stay can be arranged for an additional charge. Requirements vary by furniture vendor. It is advised to review this fee information prior to signing a rental lease.
Pick Up of Rental Items
When you are ready to move from your temporary home, just call or e-mail your chosen furniture vendor for collection of your rental items. Your furniture rental representative will make sure that all items are safely removed from your home. Depending on the size of your temporary home, the collection process will generally take two to three hours.
Payment
Be prepared to provide some information to the local furniture vendor representative for the payment process. Most vendors require a credit history check and income verification. Your credit will be a factor in determining a security deposit on the rented items. Most rental agreements are for a three-month minimum, but a shorter term may be available at a higher rate. Additionally, there are tradeshow and entertainment divisions that service those special occasion rentals such as filming a commercial, fundraiser, and industry tradeshows. Most vendors require a minimum monthly rental amount, which varies from a range of $175 to $300 on average. All terms and conditions vary by vendor.
